Winter driving conditions prove time and time again that snow and ice can be very punishing to new drivers. In Ohio, when looking for a car it is important to find a vehicle that has all-wheel drive. Especially on the treacherous roads of Indian Hill, you want full control, all the time. You’re going to need this control in Indian Hill, which is know for it’s road hazards like ice and suicidal deer. In light of the recent inch of snow that has accumulated, I decided to write this article. These are the best, no, the very best all wheel drive cars for winter driving.

  1. 2013 Mercedes G63 AMG 6×6

The Mercedes G63 AMG 6×6 is the pinnacle of off-roading 6x6s sold by Mercedes. The G63 comes standard with all the amenities that you would expect from a Mercedes: a 6.3 liter twin turbo V8, leather seats, automatic transmission, onboard tire inflation compressor, etc. In my opinion the G63 is not flashy enough; personally I would replace the cheap-looking wheel arches with ones made of solid gold, paint it pink and then put some fire truck sirens in the back to assert my dominance.

  1. Bugatti Veyron

The Volkswagen Veyron is one of the fastest production cars in the world. Being propelled by 4 Jetta engines, this whale carcass on wheels can reach over 268 miles an hour. The Lamborghini Veyron comes standard with such luxuries as A/C, power windows, tail lights, and all-wheel drive. The Audi Veyron makes the perfect car for any new driver. The best part? It’s essentially a Volkswagen Beetle, albeit squashed, so you know it’ll be reliable.

  1. The Monster Caddy from Mad Max Fury Road

Let me give you a scenario, Its 3:15 p.m. and you just got out of Mr. Black’s class. You’re feeling irritated because Mr. Black just told you to low-key read the entire encyclopedia. Then you remember that you had to park in the far end of the parking lot. You hobble out to your car and then you are waiting in the line to get out of the parking lot. Finally you look in front of you and you see a Mazdaspeed 6 that some buffoon stalled. This has pushed you past your breaking point. But wait, you are in a monster truck, so you just casually demolish all the cars in your way until you are on the main road, now you finally are at peace.

  1. Peel P50 Microcar

The Peel P50 is probably the cutest car ever put into production. The little car is so light that you could probably drive it on top of the snow. The only improvement to this otherwise perfect car would be to swap in an LS3 to up the performance a tad so that this microcar can perform just as it should. It’s possible…. I hope.

For the average Indian Hill consumer, all of these cars will be sufficient. Whether you are shuttling the children to school or driving to a party, don’t let the snow and ice slow you down.
